Burnaby Open Curling Bonspiel

Exciting news! It's Special Olympics BC Burnaby's first time hosting a curling bonspiel, open to all locals.  

Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024

Location: Delta Thistle Curling Club, North Delta Recreation Centre, 11415 - 84th Avenue, Delta, BC.

Time: Warm-up is at 8:45 a.m. Teams will be on the ice from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Ribbon presentation to follow shortly after last game.

Registration Cost: $125.00 per team. Please make cheques payable to " Special Olympics BC Burnaby "  

Lunch: Please bring a bagged lunch. Snacks, hot chocolate/coffee will be provided throughout the day.  

Competition: Three six-end games (time permitting).

Medical Forms: Please ensure you bring medical forms for your athletes.

Registration

Registration will be limited to 10 teams (plus 2 Burnaby teams). You are encouraged to register early to secure a spot. When registering, please indicate the level of play (A/B or C/development) for your curling team.  Depending on responses, we may be able to have an A/B division and a C/Developmental division.
