Special Olympics PEI Membership Memo - January 4, 2021

Special Olympics PEI Athletes, Volunteers, and Families: It is with excitement that we announce in-person programming will begin again on January 7, 2021.

Here are some reminders as we return to programs:

• All members are required to register in advance of attending programs by contacting Ellen by phone (902-368-8919) or email (sopei@sopei.com).
• We will continue to update our Special Olympics PEI Facebook Group.
• A reminder that at-home the Wellness Champion program is available for those unable to attend in-person programs. For more information, please contact office by phone (902-368-8919) or email (sopei@sopei.com) and ask to join the Wellness Champions program.
• Face to face meetings and limited fundraising events will be allowed with written approval and all new protocols must be followed.
• The Special Olympics PEI office is open, however, until further notice please contact the office to make an appointment if you need to drop in.
• We will continue to monitor our Chief Public Health guidelines and adjust accordingly.

Let’s continue to follow Public Health guidelines by washing your hands frequently, wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing.
