Special Olympics BC – Grand Forks would like to invite all our athletes and volunteers to participate in the Grand Forks Canada Day Parade on July 1! We would also like to expand our invitation to the Day program and Residential homes that support our athletes and sport programs.
All staff and parents are welcome to support their individuals from their place of residency. SOBC – Grand Forks will have a float to accommodate 14 persons comfortably. You are welcome to walk, bike, or utilize golf carts and vehicles to follow along with us.
Assistance will be needed to distribute posters, decorate bikes, and other vehicles. Support will also be required for balloons and face painting if desired.
