Special Olympics PEI's Executive Director, Charity Sheehan and Summerside area Floor Hockey and Athletics athlete, Jeremy Wall were recently at PEI Mutual Insurance Company to celebrate the company's 32nd year of supporting Special Olympics. Jeremy offered his personal thanks, on behalf of all athletes, volunteers and coaches, and accepted a $25,000 donation to Special Olympics PEI.
Following the donation, Charity Sheehan, Special Olympics PEI’s Executive Director, shared the following on the partnership “The support shown by PEI Mutual for Special Olympics PEI has been remarkable. For the past 32 years the Directors, Agents, and Staff of PEI Mutual have been true champions of the Special Olympics movement. Beyond their much appreciated financial support, they have cultivated relationship with our athletes, and are always there to cheer them on. These donation will ensure that we are able to continue to provide sport programs, Athlete Leadership, and inclusive health opportunities for our athletes. We remain truly grateful for the support of PEI Mutual.”
