When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

When I was eight years old. I started in rhythmic gymnastics to help with balance and coordination

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

I have been to Prince Edward Island for snowshoeing, Brandon for 10-pin bowling, and Quebec City for snowshoeing.

What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

I placed second in all three of my snowshoe races. I was happy and proud.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?

I am happy to be part of a great team.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To beat my provincial times.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

I am proud to represent Prince George and B.C.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I like to race.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

You get to travel and meet lots of people.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

Special Olympics is a big part of my life. I do Special Olympics sports every day. I do 12 different sports. I also like to do therapeutic riding.
