When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

In 2003 when I first started the swimming program.

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

No this will be my sixth National Games. I competed in track in 2010 and speed skating in 2009, 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2024.

What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

I was happy and proud of my performance and I won three gold and one silver.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?

I am proud to be part of the team and it feels amazing.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To do my best and great performances and personal bests and it would be great to win a medal.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

I love to go to NationaI Games because I love racing great competitions and meeting old friends.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

It's fast and I love to race.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

It's great to meet new friends lots of fun and lots of different sports.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I love to travel! Disneyland is my favourite place to go. I love music and dancing and my favourite food is sushi and spaghetti.

What is one word you would use to describe yourself? :)

Fierce.
