When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

Nine years. My girlfriend.

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

No. I competed in bowling in the 2020 National Games in Thunder Bay.

What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

My team placed 2nd in bowling. I felt happy about my performance.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?

It means the whole world to me. I’m excited.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To win the gold medal.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

Means a lot.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

Get good strikes and have fun.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

It’s fun, it’s good exercise. And you meet good people.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I like working out and exercising every day. I like being a part of the sports with SOBC – Port Alberni.

What is one word you would use to describe yourself? :)

Athletic.
