Empire Company Ltd, the parent company for Sobeys, has been a dedicated National Partner of Special Olympics since 2016. In addition to helping us raise necessary funds to support our grassroots programs, they also help our athletes, families and coaches eat better and feel better with nutrition guides and fresh, accessible food.
Sobeys stores here in PEI are proud to employee numerous Special Olympics athletes. These Sobeys Employed Athletes work in locations across the province, and fill a variety of different roles. During this year's Empire check-stand campaign we caught up with 2 Sobeys Employed Athletes at the Sobeys Extra in Stratford.
