When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
Since 2013, I have been bowling with Special Olympics. Cheyenne Jokinen got me into bowling.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
These will be my first National Games.
What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I felt really good bowling.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?
It means everything to me to be part of Special Olympics Team BC because it is for my father.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To get the same amount of trophies as my father.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
It means everything to me.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like the scores I get and that I get to throw the ball.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
My favourite experience to date would be winning a gold medal in Vernon and also winning an individual medal.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?
It is fun and you get to know lots of people.
What other Special Olympics sports do you participate in?
Track and field and bocce.
