When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I have been with Special Olympics for 23 years. I was very shy and I wanted to try bowling but was too shy. That's when the bowling coach Fae Hodgins came and talked to me and got me relaxed, then I started to have fun. I then joined softball which Fae also coached at that time. After that, I joined curling.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
I have competed in curling at the 2008 National Games in Quebec where I won a gold medal. I also went to the National Games for softball in P.E.I. winning gold there too.
