When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I have been with Special Olympics for 18 years. I started 5-pin bowling with a couple of friends who were already bowling.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
Yes this will be my first time going to Special Olympics Canada Games.
What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
My team brought home the gold medal. I was excited that our team won.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?
It feels great to be able to go on further with the sport that I love playing.
What is your goal for these National Games?
Win gold and have fun!
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
Sportsmanship and meeting new people.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like bowling with my friends and having fun.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Winning the gold medal.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

What other Special Olympics sports do you participate in?
Swimming and basketball.

I love going to dances, hanging out with friends and going to movies.
