When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I started in 2022. I was interested in racing against other people like me.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
This is my first.
What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I got three gold medals. I was really, really happy!!
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?
Fun! Super cool to be a part of something that makes me have more fun ski racing.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To win and make it to the World Games in Italy.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
It’s really neat that I get to go and compete at National Games.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I love going fast. And I love sending jumps.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?
It’s really neat that you get to go and compete against people like you who also have trouble learning things.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I love skiing in powder. I’m only 15 years old.
