Yes, this will be my first Special Olympics Canada Games.

What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

Our team won silver in 5-pin bowling. I felt awesome about our performance.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?

I am honoured and very excited.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To win the gold medal.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

An opportunity to win and if we don't win an opportunity to do the best we can.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

Bowling is challenging and fun.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

Getting involved in Special Olympics puts your mind on positive things and helps you deal with the negative things in the world.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I have volunteered at Chilliwack Community Policing for 30 years. I am an artist and paint with watercolours and oil paint. I also enjoy knitting.

What is one word you would use to describe yourself? :)

Outgoing.
