"A1. I believe many healthcare reforms are needed and this is absolutely one of them.

A2. Absolutely. If policy is put forward without consulting those affected, I cannot support it.

A3. Yes, every person in BC deserves a high quality standard of care and quality of life.

A4. Unfortunately, I will not be in a position where I can make that commitment alone, but I can assure you that I will support the creation of a task force to improve the health of people with intellectual disabilities.

A5. I will support funding and resources to ensure people with intellectual disabilities receive equitable treatment and will consult those affected with regard to what that should look like."

"I have done my ECE education in which we have studied diversity and equality. I have done my special needs certification too. 
I will do everything to improve the situation if I get the chance."

"The main reason I am running is to be an advocate for those who are not being treated fairly in our system. As an elected member, I would be a strong advocate for individuals and groups such as yours. I would not be afraid to solicit those in positions to implement change to respond to those issues."

"I would definitely engage individuals with intellectual disabilities and their supporters during the policy-making process on all issues that impact their health and wellbeing. I have had only a few experiences with the struggles that people with intellectual disabilities face, but I would like to be able to make policy changes that would positively impact their lives if I was given the opportunity."
