Join us on a journey of triumph and camaraderie! From February 25 to March 3, 2024, our esteemed Special Olympics NL team, comprised of 70 dedicated athletes and coaches, will converge upon Calgary, Alberta to showcase their prowess at the 2024 National Winter Games.
Now, the spotlight is on you—seize the opportunity to be a champion of change!
Draft an Athlete
Be a driving force behind an exceptional cause by sponsoring your favorite athlete for $1,000. Your generous contribution will empower individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing them the chance to exhibit their talents and relish the ecstasy of victory both on and off the playing field. By drafting an athlete you become an indispensable member of our collective journey. Your sponsorship will cover essential aspects such as travel expenses, accommodations, meals, and competition fees. These athletes will carry the banner of Newfoundland & Labrador with pride, and you can be an active participant in their adventure by following the inspiring stories of Team NL 2024.
Also, by making this minimum donation of $1,000, individuals and organizations can become an integral part of the team and share in the excitement. As a valued donor, you will be paired with a Team Newfoundland and Labrador athlete, receiving a personalized touch with a photo and biography of your athlete, updates from Calgary during the Special Olympics Canada Games, and an exclusive invitation to the Team SONL Draft and Team Send Off on Saturday, February 24th, at Memorial University in St. John's (More information to follow).
