Powerlifting is much more than a deadlift, squat or bench press - training, determination and attitude, are all key factors to a successful lift.

SONL prolific powerlifter, Jackie "The NL Moose" Barrett says:

"Powerlifting is 90% mental and 10% physical".

*Powerlifters must be 16 years of age and over. Athletes competing in the Squat event must have been competing in Powerlifting for a minimum of two years and have written permission from their doctor. Athletes that test positive for Atlanto Axial Dislocation may not participate in the Squat event.
