Fitness Through Sport Playbook: Insights on Physical Activity, Nutrition, Hydration, Mental Health & Self-Care

Special Olympics Canada, sponsored by Empire Company Limited (Sobeys Inc.), is hosting its third virtual Family Health Forum to support athletes, families, caregivers, coaches, and volunteers. Join us for a 1-hour interactive workshop where we’ll introduce the newly released Fitness through Sport Playbook, offering valuable insights on supporting physical activity, nutrition, hydration, mental health, and self-care. During the session, we’ll actively engage in accessible and inclusive movement through "Movement Snacks,” mini workouts designed for all abilities, which can be easily incorporated into daily routines to break up seated time and promote better health. This session is a great opportunity to stay active, away from sport, during the winter months, and leave with practical tools to support a healthier, more active lifestyle for your family.

Session #1 (Hosted Virtually): Monday, February 24th at 6:30pm (EST) (7:30pmAST,5:30pmCT,4:30pmMT,3:30pmPT)

Session #2 (Hosted Virtually): Monday, February 24th at 8:30pm (EST) (9:30pmAST, 7:30pmCT, 6:30pmMT, 5:30pmPT)
