Biography: 

Richard, a 30-year-old athlete from Mississauga, won Gold at the National Games in Nova Scotia. He says he’s been training hard for the 2019 World Games to make Special Olympics and Canada proud. Richard thanks Special Olympics for opening up a whole new world for him, including opportunities to participate, make new friends and travel. Seeing new places and meeting new people is now his favourite thing as he never had those chances before.
