Biography: 

John, a 43-year-old Belleville native, has been with Special Olympics for 31 years. He won two Gold and two Silver at both the 2018 National Games and 2018 Provincial Games. Swimming is John’s favourite sport. He also participates in Bocce, Golf, Track, 10-Pin, Powerlifting, and Speed Skating. He says a big challenge was finding his own place, but Special Olympics has made him lots of friends and given him huge opportunities. His goal for the  World Summer Games is to win medals.
