Biography:
40-year-old Erin from Cranbrook has been a Special Olympics athlete for 26 years. Erin started when she was 14 with Skiing, Bowling and Soccer. She’s been to the World Winter Games five times, all for skiing. 2019 will be her first World Summer Games. Erin has won many medals and has them all displayed on the wall of her home. Erin’s Mother, Joanne, is the local Special Olympics program coordinator, ski coach. Erin says she is honoured to be representing her country and thanks Special Olympics for opportunities to play sports she loves, meet new people, try new things and travel to new places.
