How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
Since first getting involved, I’ve completed University Degree, got married and had 2 kids.
What do you like most about the sport you will be competing in at Special Olympics World Summer Games Berlin 2023?
I can't wait to see all the athletes and coaches hard work come together into an experience of a lifetime.
What is your proudest moment with Special Olympics?
One of my proudest moments was the time I watched one of my athletes be able raise a hoop over their head for the first time after 2 years of training.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
It is such an incredible opportunity to be a part of Special Olympics Team Canada. To represent our country and to lead this team of amazing athletes, coaches and volunteers is unbelievable humbling.
What is your goal for Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023?
To show Canada that Special Olympics is back, and we are prepared to take on the World.
