How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?

Since 1997.

How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?

I am very active in lots of sports (swimming / cross country skiing / club fit), and I made lots of friends. I get to travel, and I love to compete.

What do you like most about the sport you will be competing in at Special Olympics World Summer Games Berlin 2023?

I love to train and compete in the water. I love to try to beat my personal bests. I love to meet new teammates and meet other athletes from around the world.

What is your proudest moment with Special Olympics?

My proudest moment was when I got to meet and be interviewed with my idol, Michael Phelps, in 2016 at the LA Summer games. Also, beating my personal bests in Dubai / Abu Dhabi 2019 World Summer Games.

What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?

I am proud to represent Canada and try my best to be a good swimmer and teammate.

What is your goal for Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023?

My goal is to try my best, beat my personal bests and be a good teammate.
