How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I have been involved for 23 years. I joined in 1998.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
I have improved at the sports I take part in and I have made a lot of friends.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I try to train 6 times per week. My goal is to try my best and to continuously improve.
What is the biggest challenge you have overcome in your life?
My biggest challenge has been committing to doing well in my sports and keeping up with the training that is necessary.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being selected for the Special Olympics Team Canada 2022 Training Squad for cross-country skiing.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
It means a lot. It shows that all my hard work has paid off. It is what I have wanted more than anything.
