How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I first joined in 2013.

How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?

I am part of a team now!

How have you been preparing yourself for competition?

I train 3 to 4 times a week so that I can improve my start time for Games.

What is the biggest challenge you have overcome in your life?

Graduating high school and getting a job was my greatest challenge.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I am so proud to have the chance to go to Russia and represent Special Olympics Canada!

What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?

It’s a special honour to be able to represent my country.
