How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I have been involved with Special Olympics since 2015.

How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?

Special Olympics has given me a sense of belonging. I have made many friends and I feel very supported both on and off the field.

How have you been preparing yourself for competition?

I continue to train daily as my goal is to stay fit, become stronger and continue to grow as an athlete.

What is the biggest challenge you've overcome in your life?

Gaining confidence in myself. I continue to learn how to be more socially engaged and to stand up for myself.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I am most proud of qualifying and being named to the Special Olympics Team Canada 2022 Training Squad.

What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?

Thank you to Special Olympics for giving me the ability to achieve my full potential as an athlete. Going to the World Games has been my goal. It is not only an honour but a privilege to represent my country.
