How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I started Special Olympics in early 2009.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
Since joining Special Olympics I have continued to exercise regularly and having fun competing with friends.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
My goal is to earn a new record and reach my personal best. I have been training six days a week.
What is the biggest challenge you've overcome in your life?
<My biggest challenge was learning the English language and being able to speak it fluently.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I was very proud when I won two gold medals at the Special Olympics Canada National Winter Games, in Thunder Bay, 2020.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
Special Olympics makes me feel happy and I am very excited to go to the World Games and meet other athletes from around the world!
