On Tuesday, May 2, W.H. Ford FIAP Students welcomed Special Olympics Saskatchewan Athlete, Robbie Bomboir, to play a friendly game of Kickball. Robbie worked with the students to teach them the rules of kickball and instantly became their local hero. Robbie just recently returned home from the Special Olympics World Games in Austria with a Silver Medal in Floor Hockey, the students were eager to see and hold Robbie’s Silver Medal and pose for pictures with him.

Robbie has quickly become the Hometown Sports Hero for these young Special Olympics Athletes who have high aspirations to one day play on a Special Olympics Sports Team and win their own medals.
