Introducing Our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan: Building a Stronger, More Inclusive Community

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, a comprehensive roadmap designed to guide our organization over the next 3 years. This plan reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities through sport.

Our vision for the future:

Our new strategic plan is built around 4 key pillars:

  1. Grow and Retain Athletes
    1. We aim to increase the number of athletes we serve and broaden our program offerings to ensure that more individuals can benefit from sports' transformative power.
  2. Quality Sports Programs and Events
    1. We are dedicated to continuously improving the quality of our programs and promoting inclusivity at all levels. This includes implementing new training initiatives for our coaches and volunteers and introducing adaptive sport activities.
  3. Grow and Retain Volunteers
    1. Building a strong sense of community is at the heart of our mission. We will focus on fostering meaningful connections among athletes, coaches, volunteers, and supporters through community events, team building activities, and enhanced communication channels.
  4. Ensuring Sustainability and Growth
    1. To sustain and grow our impact, we will diversify our funding sources, optimize our operations, and invest in innovative technologies and partnerships that support our mission.

Key Initiatives:

As part of our strategic plan, we are excited to introduce several key initiatives:

  • New Sport Programs: looking to expand our offerings to include a wider range of programs tailored to the interests and abilities of our athletes.
  • Volunteer Engagement: launch a comprehensive volunteer training and recognition program to ensure our volunteers feel valued and equipped to support our mission.
  • Community Events: organize reglar social events to strengthen community bonds and celebrate collective achievements.
  • Advocacy and Awareness: amplifying our advocacy efforts to raise awareness about intellectual disabilities and the importance of inclusive sports programs.
