Meet Our Athletes and Coach
Special Olympic Saskatchewan athletes—Jordan Stevenson, Michael Qing, and Taylor Barth—along with coach, Eric Lautsch, recently participated in a training camp designed to enhance their skills and prepare them for upcoming competitions. Their enthusiasm and dedication were evident from day one, and we couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments.

Excitement Builds as Athletes and Coach Head to First Team Training Camp

This weekend marks a thrilling milestone for three of our exceptional athletes and dedicated coaches as they embark on their first team training camp in Calgary. These individuals are gearing up to represent Special Olympics Saskatchewan at the upcoming Special Olympics World Games in March, and the anticipation is palpable.
Meet Our Athletes:
Jordan Stevenson: A talented speed skater, Jordan’s determination always sets him apart. He is eager to showcase his skills on a larger stage.
Michael Qing: Known for his speed and agility, Michael is an alpine skier who has worked tirelessly to qualify for the World Games. His dedication to training and his infectious enthusiasm inspire everyone around him.
Taylor Barth: Another avid alpine skier, Taylor's perseverance and strength have made him a standout in his sport. He is ready to give it his all.
The Inspirational Coach:
Eric Lautsch: Our very own Saskatchewan Coach is heading to the World Games as a Canadian Coach for snowshoeing. With years of experience and a deep commitment to his athletes, Coach Lautsch is the guiding force behind the team's success. His ability to motivate and support his athletes has been instrumental in their journey to the World Games.
The excitement is undeniable as they head to Calgary for their first team training camp. The camp will provide them with an opportunity to refine their skills, build team spirit, and prepare mentally and physically for the challenges ahead.
