Special Olympics Saskatchewan speed skater, Terry Livingstone, was awarded Athlete of the Month for March! The Athlete of the Month award is granted to an individual who presents outstanding performance in the selected month.
Special Olympics Saskatchewan is proud of all of Terry’s accomplishments in the organization over the past 37 years. Livingstone has attended several National Games, in both Summer and Winter Sports, the most recent of which was in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland. His performance landed him a spot as a speed skater on Team Canada that headed to Austria for the World Winter Games.
Livingstone attended the Special Olympics World Winter Games earlier in March and came home with a gold medal in the 777 metre speed skating event, along with a fourth place in the 500 metre.
Congratulations to Terry Livingstone on this award!
