In just 19 days, Special Olympics Team Canada will walk into the Opening Ceremony at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. This will mark the team’s triumphant return to the Special Olympics World Games, with Canada having last competed on the world stage in 2019.

In just 150 days, Special Olympics athletes from all corners of the globe will gather in Berlin for the world's biggest celebration of inclusion at the Special Olympics World Summer Games. In November, all #SOTeamCanada23 Training Squad members from across the country attended their first Training Camp to prepare for competition on the world stage. Please join us in cheering them on!

We are thrilled to congratulate the 48 Coaches and Mission Staff from across the country who have been named to the Special Olympics Team Canada Training Squad 2023. These individuals will represent Canada at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Berlin from June 17-25, 2023, supporting qualifying athletes from all 12 Provincial/Territorial Chapters across Canada.
