Special Olympics Canada hosts National Games every two years, alternating between summer and winter. Athletes from across Canada compete in various sports over the course of a week with the goal of achieving personal bests and in some cases, the opportunity to be named to Team Canada for the proceeding World Games.

2018 SPECIAL OLYMPICS CANADA SUMMER GAMES - ANTIGONISH, NOVA SCOTIA
The next National Games will be in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, in the summer of 2018.
Special Olympics Canada's 2018 Bowling Championships will take place in PEI. 5-Pin Bowling will be held in Charlottetown and 10-Pin in Summerside May 13-17, 2018.

2020 Special Olympics Canada National Winter Games - Thunder Bay, Ontario
Special Olympics Saskatchewan is now accepting applications for Team Manager, Mission Staff, Head and Assistant Coaches for the 2020 Special Olympics Canada National Winter Games. The Games will be held in Thunder Bay, Ontario (proposed dates are: February 25-29, 2020). The sports that will be attending are: 5 Pin Bowling, Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Floor Hockey, Snowshoeing, and Speed Skating.
