Special Olympics Canada has identified specific outcomes that require additional knowledge, skills, and abilities that are relevant to coaching the Special Olympics athletes in a competitive stream. The intent is to prepare the coach to meet the specific needs of the Special Olympics athlete. The coaches will be required to demonstrate their abilities in the training (SOC Competition Introduction Workshop). This is a required course for all Special Olympics coaches.

This course will be delivered fully virtually via Zoom. The course will take place on June 15 and 16, 2024. It will run from 9am - 2:30pm on Saturday and from 9am-12:30pm on Sunday. You must attend BOTH sessions to receive credit for this course.
