Special Olympics Featured on TSN's Breaking Down Barriers

Special Olympics is featured in an upcoming episode of Breaking Down Barriers, a television series dedicated to spotlighting organizations and communities that are creating more accessible, inclusive opportunities in sport. 

This episode takes viewers to the Special Olympics Ontario Provincial Summer Games, where athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities compete with pride and share what access to inclusive sport has meant for their confidence, health and sense of belonging—on and off the field of play.

The episode also highlights the volunteers, coaches and staff who power the Special Olympics movement across Canada, and the role sport plays in building stronger, more inclusive communities.
