Teri Cudmore has been a Special Olympics athlete for 14 years. Similar to many of her fellow Special Olympics athletes, Teri first got involved to meet new people.
The Special Olympics Canada Winter Games 2024 will be Teri's third National Games. Teri has competed at two previous National Games, in 2014 and 2018, both times at Summer Games as a member of Team PEI Softball. In addition to Floor Hockey and Softball, Teri also participates in Bocce. Looking ahead to the Games, Teri is most looking forward to having fun.
In February / March of 2024, Special Olympics PEI will be represented by 33 athletes, supported by 21 coaches and mission staff, at the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games 2024 in Calgary, Alberta. Team PEI will compete in 7 sports: 5-Pin Bowling, Cross Country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Floor Hockey, Snowshoeing, and Speed Skating.
