How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I first joined in 2015.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
Before joining Special Olympics, I did not play any of the sports and I could only watch my brother play. Since joining Special Olympics I have become very athletic and play many sports. I have met lots of other athletes in my town and from all over Canada and I have travelled to new places.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I am active every day but training three to four times a week.
What is the biggest challenge you've overcome in your life?
I have learned to overcome being away from my family.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of making on to Team Canada.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
Special Olympics is a big part off my life and I love all sports. I am very proud to go to the World Games because I worked very hard.
