How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I’ve been involved with Special Olympics for 17 years. I joined when I was 14 years old.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
I have more friends, I am able to get out more and I look forward to practices and seeing my friends.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I train at least three days a week. My goal is to do my best!
What is the biggest challenge you have overcome in your life?
My biggest challenge is finding time to train after working at my job 5 days a week.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of how far I’ve come.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
It means a new adventure where I get to meet mew friends and do skiing, which I love.
