Biography:

Andrew from Antigonish has been volunteering with Special Olympics for 10 years. He has attended many Provincial Games, three National Games and 2019 will be his first World Games. Andrew says that Special Olympics has impacted his life both personally and professionally. He’s gained a richer understanding of perseverance, sportsmanship and comradery. The World Games is what these athletes have trained and sacrificed for. To be selected to be a member of their team has provided Andrew with great pleasure, and he will ensure the athletes enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
