Biography: 

Christine, a 52-year-old athlete from Medicine Hat, has been with Special Olympics for 22 years. Her sports are Powerlifting, 5-pin and 10-pin bowling. Christine won four Golds at National Games and two Golds at the last World Games. She says Special Olympics has enabled her to do anything she puts her mind to and prove her abilities at Powerlifting. She’s made lots of new friends and has the confidence to ‘let loose on the dance floor.’ Christine’s hobbies include reading, walking, helping animals and attending Church.
