Biography:
Kerry has been a dedicated Special Olympics athlete for 35 years. She discovered bocce after being forced to give up baseball and swimming due to an injury. Kerry is thankful for Special Olympics, the coaches and volunteers in the Brantford program who continue to support, encourage and guide her. Kerry participated in her very first National Games in 2018 and won gold. Now she is attending her first World Games representing Team Canada. Kerry dedicates each game to a member of her family, people that she admires or her beloved pets. In 2019, she is determined to bring home another gold. Kerry is also very proud of her twin brother, a Special Olympics athlete who participates in swimming and floor hockey.
