Team BC 2018: Families & Fans

Special Olympics Team BC 2018 is dependent on the information and resources provided by the organizers of the 2018 Special Olympics Canada Bowling Championships (PEI May) and 2018 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games (Nova Scotia July-August), as well as Special Olympics Canada. Check out the event websites for more information:

Please note: Team BC will not have any information on athlete travel available until mid to end of February 2018.

Accommodations

National Bowling Championships (PEI)

The 2018 Special Olympics Canada Bowling Championships organizers have provided accommodations information on this page.

Please note that 5-pin bowling is being hosted in Charlottetown and 10-pin bowling will be in TWO locations: Summerside and Tyne Valley (32 kilometres from Summerside). Bowlers could be at one venue one day and at another the next. More information on the venues can be found here

National Games (Nova Scotia)

Please note that the National Games in Nova Scotia will be hosted in a very small community with very limited motel options. We advise Team BC supporters to book bed and breakfasts or look to St. Francis Xavier University or to communities about 30 minutes away, as these may end up being their only options. The 2018 Special Olympics Canada Games Organizing Committee has provided accommodations information on this pageWe recommend that travelling supporters book accommodations immediately and make sure to identify themselves as part of the SOC Games.
