SOBC Youth Engagement Project initiative created by Daniel McClement
Daniel developed the Special Olympics BC Chefs program in order to help athletes develop skills to make healthier food choices, prepare meals for themselves, and follow a healthy diet, all in a fun and interactive way.
“Our goal was to make an engaging, COVID-friendly culinary course accessible for people with intellectual disabilities,” he said.
