When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
Our Local was formed in 2009, and because I was so active, I felt it was a wonderful opportunity to bond with other athletes and stay fit.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
These will be my first National Games.
What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I am a novice skier and I brought home three gold medals in alpine skiing.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?
It's a wonderful opportunity to meet new people.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To do the best I can, and have fun.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
Hard work but hopefully have fun too.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like going through the gates and being on the mountain.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
I think mostly just being very involved in my community and spending time with my friends. Being at Silver Star [for the 2019 SOBC Games] and winning my medals. I love going to bowling events as well.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?
It is lots of fun, you stay fit and make friends.
What other Special Olympics sports do you participate in?
Swimming, bowling, and Club Fit.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

What is one word you would use to describe yourself? :)
Social butterfly.
