When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

I started about 20 years ago and my favourite sport was alpine skiing. Now, I do basketball, swimming, curling, bocce, golf, Club Fit, and I love cross country skiing.

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

I went to London Ontario for swimming and Ottawa for alpine skiing.

What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

I did my best. I was a little disappointed because I did not qualify for World Games.

It is very exciting. Wow.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I like cross country skiing in the dark with my coach and headlamp.

The best was going to Provincial Games in Vernon with my awesome coach Sue Rowe.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

Let's talk about Special Olympics, then tell them about my good experiences.
