When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
December 2014, when my friend Francis got me involved with cross country skiing.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
Yes.
What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
Bronze in the 7.5 km, a silver in the 10 km classic, and a silver in the 2.5 km skate.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?
It means I'm committed and into my sport.
What is your goal for these National Games?
Travelling is always exciting, I'm excited to see Thunder Bay and achieving my best.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
Good to set a benchmark that I can strive for.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like being out in nature and enjoying myself, it's a great workout and lots of fun.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Seeing a moose out on the trails, and seeing myself improve more and more each year.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?
It's a healthy lifestyle and a great opportunity to compete in a safe and friendly environment.
What other Special Olympics sports do you participate in?
Curling.
