About SOBC – Elk Valley

Special Olympics BC – Elk Valley is based out of Fernie, but also serves Elkford, Sparwood, and South Country up to the Bull River and down to the U.S. border.

In a typical season we offer  snowshoe, bocce, golf, and swimming.

We are currently looking to build our youth programs within the valley – Active start and FUNdamentals for children with intellectual disabilities ages 2 to 11.

At this time we are actively seeking Admin members for the local committee -  Program Coordinator, Secretary and fundraising Coordinator, as well as coaches and athletes to join our community. Please contact us for more information and to get involved!
