Special Olympics Saskatchewan is now accepting applications for Team Managers, Coaches, and Athletes for the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games.
The Games will be held in Swift Current, Saskatchewan from August 8, 2019 – August 18, 2019. Swimming (August 8 – 13, 2019) and Athletics (August 13 – 18, 2019) will be the sports attending.
The swim team will consist of 1 coach, 1 manager, and 4 athletes (2 male and 2 female). The athletics team will consist of 1 coach, 1 manager (or 2 coaches), and 4 athletes (2 male and 2 female).
All Special Olympics swimmers must be born from 1994 to 2006. Special Olympics swimming events will be 50 Free, 100 Free, 50 Back, 100 Back, 50 Fly, and 50 Breast.
All Special Olympics athletics athletes will be under age 28 as of December 31, 2018. Special Olympics athletics events will be 100m, 200m, Long Jump, Shot Put, and 4x100m mixed relay.
